Two Exciting Developments in Fundraising!

With your support, the PTO can start the year with money to spend on kids and programs rather than legal requirements.

Second, the fundraising committee is looking to set up a variety of fundraising activities. They are interested in knowing more about the types of fundraisers parents in our community prefer.

THE STORY:

It’s our first year supporting the new Columbus Gifted Academy and we want to set the program and our PTO up to be successful for all of the years to come.

Here’s how we’ll spend the money:

  • $250 registration with the State of Ohio
  • $500 registration with IRS for 501(c)3 status
  • $500 to waive membership fees for 2015-16

The membership fees and any money raised above the goal will be used to support the Columbus Gifted Academy as approved by the PTO membership.

It is with great pleasure that CCS announces CAHS Assistant Principal, Amanda Reidenbaugh, has been promoted to the role of Director of the Columbus Gifted Academy and will be commencing that assignment during the upcoming 2015-16 school year. Mrs. R. served the CAHS Community, its staff, and scholars for four years as a Leadership Intern and Assistant Principal. Her expertise and effervescence will be a great addition to the team. Stay tuned for more information about an opportunity to meet Mrs. R in the coming weeks.
