    • Open House(s) thanks to family, scholars, staff
    • Shout outs
    • Brenda Crumbley has been awarded the 2016 Donald R. Hallman distinguished veteran award by Stonewall Columbus
    • Rachelle Amey in Northland Performing Arts Center production of South Pacific
    • Grading period ends October 20 report cards home for elementary on the 11th, middle school reports mailed that same daY
    • CGA Report Card compiled by Dr. Colleen Boyle (link)
    • Calendar –
  • Mr Cashin – Cleveland Museum of Art trip for 7th Graders. Free admission, $400 scholarship for busing, may need to take 2 buses (not all 52 kids may go). If they only need one bus, would hold money for a Spring trip.
    • Proposal to support up to $500, with the suggestion that some cost will be recovered, (voice vote, no dissenting votes)

    • Fiscal Year Vote: Proposal to change PTO fiscal year to match common (specifically state of Ohio) fiscal year: July 1 to June 30 (would also affect PTO service period) (voice vote, no dissenting votes)
  • PTO Board Expense Authority Vote:
    • Current: Section 4: Duties a. Executive Board. Develop the PTO’s annual budget, establish and oversee committees to conduct the work of the PTO, establish fundraising programs, and approve by majority vote of the Board expenditures of no more than $200.
    • Proposed: Section 4: Duties a. Executive Board. Develop the PTO’s annual budget, establish and oversee committees to conduct the work of the PTO, establish fundraising programs, and approve by majority vote of the Board expenditures as follows:
      • No more than $400 from July 1 through September 30
      • No more than $200 in unbudgeted expenditures from October 1 through June 30 (voice vote, no dissenting votes)

    • Spirit Wear purchase for Novemberfest
      • mall items (likely hats and scarves) to pre-purchase and resell (up to 50 of each item to start), all items under $5
      • Approval to spend up to $500 advance for up front purchase items – no vote necessary
