Mr Leopold- Writing competition support
- In lieu of power of the pen, coordinating a school-wide writing competition
- 85% of school participating
- Asking PTO to pay for medals, trophies and journals for top competitors
- Motion to fund medals, trophies and journals Motion approved: pay for all and use Power of the Pen carryover. Approved (voice vote, no dissenting votes)

Event
- Novemberfest Review
  - Thank you to NF volunteers
  - Small Profit, likely 200-250 when accounts are settled
  - Experiential raffles a big hit
- Parent Teacher Conferences
  - Providing Wednesday night meal
  - $10 supports one teacher
  - So far, approximately $100 raised
- Read-a-thon
  - Looking for a coordinator or small committee
  - Planned for March 2017

Old Business
- Cleveland museum trip update
- Teacher Reimbursement – working on communication for teachers
- Meeting Update – No regular meeting in December. Next Meeting January 9
- 2015-2016 School year library purchases being made during current book fair to maximize savings. Bean bag chairs may need to be revisited due to space concerns.

New Business
- Penny Harvest
  - Mrs Ferrel and Mr Pettibone has asked for support. Possible celebration for 3 classes that raise the most money and maybe some prizes.
  - General agreement for support. No motion made and no vote taken. Anticipated cost is within Board’s discretionary authority.
