Be an Officer for the 2026-2027 School Year
Help Lead the Phoenix Community — Join the CGA PTO as an Officer!
Did you know that CGA is funded as a program, not a traditional school? That means the PTO isn’t just a nice extra — it’s an essential part of how our scholars and staff get the support and resources they need to thrive.
From organizing beloved community events like Novemberfest, field day, and the middle school dance, to running fundraisers like skating parties and the Read-a-Thon, to weighing in on meaningful milestones like 8th grade promotion gifts — PTO officers are at the center of what makes the CGA experience something truly worth cherishing.
We’re currently accepting nominations for officer positions for the upcoming school year (2026-2027). No prior experience required — just a heart for this community and a few hours to spare. Most officers commit only 3–5 hours per month, and we’ll work with you to find a role that fits your life.
Our scholars are only here for a season, but the community we build around them lasts. Be part of keeping that flame burning.

Black Cherry Tree Seedling – Summer Care
As you may know, CGA welcomed three black cherry tree saplings last fall. During their first summer, they need weekly watering to become well established. When school is out, this care depends on volunteers. If you’re willing to help, please sign up using the SignUpGenius link below. You may choose as many or as few weeks as you like. Each shift is listed on a Sunday, but watering can take place any time during that week. Please include a reliable phone number so we can share instructions or let you know if heavy rain makes watering unnecessary. Thank you for supporting these new trees!

Looking for a way to get involved? We have plenty of opportunities to help and we’d love to meet you! 🙂
We’re currently looking for parents and caregivers who can volunteer with our PTO. You can volunteer for one of our ongoing committees or help out at an upcoming event.
Don’t have a lot of extra time? We get it! Just come and help as a one-time volunteer. Meet some other families and some of the amazing CGA Staff.
