CGA Phoenix Dream Community Garden
Those who were with us at the Beck location may remember our beautiful (yet small) school garden.
Well, now that we have a LOT of land for a garden, we’re ready to install the new CGA Phoenix Dream Community Garden, with the help of our community partners, the Dream Center and Thompson Rec Center.
We hope you’ll join us this coming Monday, May 14, from 5pm-8pm. (The PTO meeting will be held during the garden installation at 6pm.) We’ll be building the raised beds and getting some planting done if time allows.
In addition, we’re also looking for folks to bring a few tools to help us get the job done even faster. We need 2 wheelbarrows, 5 shovels, and 5 drills. If dropping off tools, please be sure they’re handed to a school official so they don’t walk away.
The Dream Center obtained a donation to help cover many of the materials needed to start this endeavor, but what we need now is people power to make it happen!
