Ms. Reidenbaugh has announced that Class Rosters will be posted on the school doors by 9 AM the morning of August 9. Scholars and their parents who can attend Spruce Up Day may be able to meet their teachers.
Families who cannot attend on August 9th may view their child’s teacher on the doors of the school throughout August.
Families are also encouraged to attend Back to School Night on August 24.
Before our kids and their teachers start school on August 25, the Columbus City Schools Gifted Program is hosting a Spruce Up Day.
Where: Beck Street School (387 E Beck St, Columbus, OH 43206)
When: Sunday, August 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Join parents, students, teachers, staff, and community members to clean up the grounds, unpack boxes and otherwise create a beautiful and productive environment.
Parking Note: Parking is extremely limited. Please consider carpooling, and be sure to park your car in the Columbus Gifted Academy faculty parking lot and playground area.
Childcare Note: Childcare will not be available at the school on Spruce Up Day. Parents should expect to keep their children under supervision at all times.

It is with great pleasure that CCS announces CAHS Assistant Principal, Amanda Reidenbaugh, has been promoted to the role of Director of the Columbus Gifted Academy and will be commencing that assignment during the upcoming 2015-16 school year. Mrs. R. served the CAHS Community, its staff, and scholars for four years as a Leadership Intern and Assistant Principal. Her expertise and effervescence will be a great addition to the team.
