      1. Scholars who participated in fundraising, one group raised money for the futon for the classroom
    2. Thanks for BookFair
    3. Thanks for feeding staff for conference night
    4. Thanks for the clothing closet
    5. Grade cards sent home last week
    6. Elementary 12/2 interims sent home or mailed for middle school
    7. Modifications to club losing 30 mins, but teachers volunteered hours to
      1. Show choir, jazz band offered, Shakespeare, mythology club added

    1. NovemberFest Update
      1. Great event, thanks to board, thanks to Jennifer & husband, lots of positive feedback that night, goal was a little lofty, it felt like a good night
      2. Makes want to go bigger and better for PhoenixPhair in the spring.
    2. Book Fair Update
      1. Volunteers Still Needed
      2. Don’t forget to stop “buy”
    3. Still need items for teach meal, need salad or fruit salad, see sign up genius on the website
    4. Clothing Donation for CGA School Closet
      1. Please continue to bring in donations for the clothing closet, we are are off to a good start
    5. Game Night is coming!
      1. Presentation by Aaron Brown
      2. Date to be set for January or February, probably a Saturday afternoon
      3. Balance between “friendraising” and fundraising
      4. More information about bringing in games / donating games / inviting a games distributor will be provided

 

 

  • Unfinished (old) Business

 

    1. Vote to table locker discussion until 2016-2017 school year
      1. Motion approved to table discussion until we have solid news about 2016-2017 middle-school plans.
      2. Other details needed: possibility of acquiring lockers from elsewhere in the district, and/or presentation of a solid plan for actually adding lockers, beyond just the request to fund the project.

    1. Discussion about timing for the spring book fair – perhaps moving it to April and organizing a book-themed event for a kick-off
