A restaurant night has been schedule for Wednesday Dec 20, 5-9 PM, at the Chipotle near the school in the Short North. This is the evening of the middle school band concert. Flyers will be sent home with scholars.

NovemberFest Report-Out
Students really liked the art show/contest, the YouTube jukebox, and the student craft sales. Parents like having a chance to sit and chat.
Game Day – February 10, 2018
Looking for a volunteer to coordinate this event. Because students have asked about them, we may add experience raffles and maybe also a silent auction. This event is scheduled for Saturday afternoon; there is a robotics competition in the morning that day.
Read-a-thon – March 12-23, 2018
Looking for a volunteer to lead this event. Angela Meeker outlined the work involved from last year.

New Business
Mr. Cashin – Cleveland Museum of Art funding
Mr. Cashin asked for support to help take 85 7th grade students to the Cleveland Museum of Art for a series of activities related to their studies. He has some grant money and will also be asking students to contribute. Motion made to cover $525, which is be used to cover transportation costs. Motion seconded. Motion approved. Trip will take place on January 9, 3028. A scholar will come to a PTO meeting and give a presentation afterward.
4th Grade Teachers – Momentum funding
On behalf of the 4th grade team, Ms. Liedtke asked for support for the Momentum dance program. She also asked for volunteer help to seek sponsorship funding from area businesses. Tanya Daskalov Huwig volunteered. Liedtke outlined existing and planned funding activities. A proposal was made to provide $525, with the opportunity for the 4th grade team to ask again later in the year, after other funding has been sought. Motion made and seconded. Motion approved. The PTO board can also provide 4th grade parents who said they could volunteer when they joined PTO.
